STUDY OF REPRESENTATIONS OF THE "SELF-IMAGE" COMPARED WITH TYPICAL AND IDEAL SELF IN NATIONAL IDENTITY AMONG ARMENIAN STUDENTS

The phenomenon of national identity is particularly relevant because of cultural differences and the cultural identity of the ethnic group. The goal of research is the identifica- tion of representations about "Self-image" compared with typical and ideal Self in national identity structure among Armenian students. The empirical study was conducted with students of Armenian universities. According to the results of the study in title Armenian ethnos re- spondents' representations about typical Armenian women and men in substantial characteris- tics are close the representations about ideal Armenian and "Self-image"
