? Styles of Classroom Management of Islamic Education Teachers in Amman from their Perspectives

Abstract
This study aimed at exploring styles of classroom management followed by Islamic Education teachers in Amman from their perspectives. The sample of the study consisted of 150 Islamic education teachers from Marka Directorate in Amman. A questionnaire, consisting of 30 items, on the there classroom management styles: autocratic, permissive, and democratic, was distributed to the study sample. Results of the study showed that the permissive style ranked first among the three styles followed by the democratic style and finally came the autocratic style. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences in favor of male teachers in using the permissive style. The study recommended holding training sessions for Islamic Education teachers on classroom management styles, especially the democratic style
