Abstract

Turkish-Armenian relationship has become one of the most complicated matters that the most talked, discussed and policies produced on, especially for last 150 years. No doubt, European States' looking after their interests have a great role in the emergency of this situation. Western States that they were effective Armenian revolt have continued same effect in the written of these events also. Generally, books which were written to represent aggrieved the Armenian by the Western authors at that time are full with statements which are put the blame on Turkish nation unjustly. In this study, an article by written W. E. Siehe, a German engineer, including observation about incidents of Armenian around the Adana and Zeytun was analyzed. This article by Siehe is significant with regard to being expressed by a European person impartially and observational. Besides, to be refuted by another German of claims of German pastor Johannes Lepsius, who known as biased writing on the Armenians is quite remarkable.
