ISLAMIC PHILOSOPHY LESSON TEACHING METHODS AND MATERIAL PREPARATION PROBLEMS / İSLÂM FELSEFESİ DERSİ ÖĞRETİM YÖNTEMLERİ VE DERS MATERYALLERİNİN HAZIRLANMASI PROBLEMLERİ

This article analyses the teaching methods and lesson materials problems within the scope of Islamic Philosophy disciplin at undurgraduat and graduat levels at Theology Faculties. In this article, Primarily, it has been scrutinized where the classical Islamic Philosophy education and lesson materials stand from the point of view of modern education methods and lesson materials. Within this context teaching methods and lesson materials. Within this context teaching methods of al-Farabi, İbn Sina and al-Ghazali have been compared with modern teaching methods. Namely Islamic education methods in general have been compared with present Theology Faculty teaching methods. Also it has been tried to question the importance of philosophy education in a modern theology Faculty. Secondarily it has been investigated how the homework and slide preparation, dictionary usage, brainstorming, and discussion methods can be applied at Islamic Philosophy medium. Also how a character education can be applied for love of wisdom and gnosis. Through lesson materials has been investigated. Within this context subjects like how a student library with philosophy books can be put together, following the past and present publications related to Islamic Philosophy, how a canteen culture or modern circle guided by philosophical discussions be formed have been investigated. Althoug the subjects have been analyzed spcifically for the Islamic Philosophy disciplin they are related to Theology education and other disciplinnes of Theology Faculties.
