Abstract
The urgency of transients analysis in the coal mine power network using mathematical methods caused the need of designing modern electrotechnical complexes with high technical and economic performance. Known methods, that used to calculate the indicators of transients in mine power networks, do not provide the necessary accuracy. The aim is to development the mathematical model of electrotechnical complexes of mine power network. Using the state variable method, the model was obtained as matrix differential equation. The equation describes transients in the power network of arbitrary configuration, which includes transformers, cables, switchgear and motors. For numerical solving of this matrix differential equation Gear-Nordsik method was used. This mathematical model is applied as computer program MinePowerNet with graphical user interface. The use of this program during designing will improve the accuracy of calculations, reduce the duration of the design, improve the accuracy of protective devices setting.
