Zvezdchatka bifurcate (Stellaria dichotoma L.), belonging to family clove (Caryophyllaceae Juss.), as is well-known from various sources, it is applied in traditional medicine, in particular, in treatment of heart diseases, at an atherosclerosis as a fortifying agent, however chemical composition of a plant is almost not studied. The research of component structure of this plant was conducted by method of highly effective liquid chromatography. The obtained data allowed to establish that a sample of a zvezdchatka bifurcate (Stellaria dichotoma L.) contains in presence of representatives of various groups of biologically active agents, in particular, 2 fitoekdisteroid ? a polipodin In and an ekdisterona, and also 13 polyphenolic bonds, including the flavonoid of a vitsenin which is of great importance for a hemotaksonomiya of family clove (Caryophyllaceae Juss.).
