Abstract
The aim of this study is analysis and understands to contribute corporate Social Responsibility in public sector units. The changing role of government in promoting Corporate Social Responsibility. This study focuses on the analysis of the strategies adopted by the Public Sector Undertakings in order to promote and encourage social cause through Corporate Social Responsibility practices. The study makes use of an explanatory framework, leading to the development of a relational analytical framework through the Content analysis technique, which tries to analyze the research findings so as to frame some generalizations for the Public Sector Undertakings of India. This study will also analysis the contribution of various PSU for the social upliftment. Keywords: - CSR, Public company, MDGs, NGO.
