Abstract
This article is devoted to the analysis of the regional beef market in Russia during 2015-2016. The conducted research allows to approve about decrease in production volumes of beef in Russia in the last decade and increase of import products in a total amount of consumption of beef by the population. This issue directly influences on the food security of Russia.
