Abstract
The principle of continuous water supply of plants according to their water consumption is progressive method of irrigation. Impulse irrigation corresponds to this principle, it allows the optimum level of soil humidity in the set soil layer, improvement of microclimate in the environment of plant development and the water mode of plants during all vegetative period. The impulse irrigation is more effective during daylight hours. The technology of impulse irrigation due to improvement of microclimate and the water mode of plants during the period of high temperatures and low air humidity in the South of Kazakhstan has increased efficiency of mother plantation of clonal rootstock for 19,4 % in comparison with usual periodic irrigation by results of researches.
