THE CAUSES OF CORRUPTION AND ECONOMIC AND LEGAL COUNTERMEASURES

The article deals with the essence of the social and negative phenomenon ? corruption and the objective causes of its emergence. Economic and legal countermeasures and experience of Uzbekistan in this sphere are determined. In particular, the complex work directed to elimination of conditions generating corruption, the anti-corruption policy of the country are analyzed. The author emphasizes that the best way of fight against corruption is improvement of market relations, systemic continuation of modernization processes of production and economy, formation of proprietors' middle class.
