Abstract
The article analyzes the dynamics of the initial cost and the depreciation of the industrial enterprises of Ukraine in 2000-2014 years based on government statistics. The initial cost of fixed assets of the country is growing, in spite of any possible adverse factors. At the same time, depreciation is also constantly growing and has reached an enormous level of 83,5% for 2014. The depreciation is much less in the industry - 60.3%. The best condition of equipment in the processing industry. Over the years since the early 2000s, Ukraine has evolved from an industrial into a transit-transport state, as evidenced by the proportion of the cost of fixed assets by activity.A way to accelerate the process of renewal of fixed assets industry was offered. This leasing, as the least expensive among the modern methods of credit.
