Restructuring of Industry Enterprises as a Basis For Competitive Strategy And Development of Corporate Governance

Abstract

The main differences of restructuring of publishing and printing enterprises containing a combination of organizational, economic, technological and legal measures aimed at increasing the production of competitive products are outlined. Analyzing a comprehensive description of the available resources and results of economic activity of publishing and printing companies whose data received by the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine and Book Chamber of Ukraine named by Ivan Fedorov, and also from published similar domestic and foreign researches of problems of the industry, we see that companies operate in a competitive environment that is complex and global in nature and is therefore an urgent need for restructuring and implementation of competitiveness strategy of enterprises. Today the strategic planning affects the development of corporate governance and is a key resource in shaping the competitive advantages of enterprises.In the article the restructuring is considered primarily as an adaptation of enterprises to the market competition and their transformation on this basis in a competitive market structures; on the base of analysis of relations peculiarities the corporate governance requirements designed to minimize the risks and to maximize competitive advantages of printing enterprises for their survival and development are formulated. Current problems of publishing in Ukraine caused firstly by crisis in the social sphere, the lack of regulation of public policy and industry development programs are revealed, and based on this the main structure of publishing market participants and their relationship are formed. The main features of publishing business, and of printing production and process are systematized. The analysis of the main publishing and printing enterprises of Lviv region, and the results of their financial and business activity, is made and the model of publishing and printing companies development is established. Due to mass privatization in Ukraine a powerful factor in the development of business and organizational cultures is formed, the behavior of relations subjects and the principles of corporate governance, ensuring the development of the corporate sector in the country through the mechanism of monitoring the actions of shareholders and management mechanism for redistribution of property rights to more effective agents are characterized.
