Development of small business in the settlement of employment in Ukraine

The state of functioning of small business in Ukraine and the main trends of development in the current economic conditions is researched. The basic indicators of small business in Ukraine, describing the number of small businesses, the volume of production and employment in small entities are analysed. Proposals and recommendations for solving the employment problem in the country through the development of small businesses, taking into account the specifics of state regulation of small business and the system of taxation of small business in Ukraine are offered.
