THE ROLE OF EDUTAINMENT TECHNOLOGY IN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF TEACHING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE FOR MEDICAL STUDENTS

This article observes the usage of the forms of edutainment in teaching anatomy, grammar material of a scientific style. Priority of the modern education is to increase the level of motivation, development of cognitive activity of students, to find innovative ways of teach- ing. To facilitate the perception and assimilation of new anatomical terminology and grammati- cal models of the scientific style, and to develop the skills of communication the usage of edu- tainment technology is promoted. This technology can include following forms and tools of ed- utainment: brainstorming, erudites' contests, press-conferences, linguistic games, quests, info- graphic, "word cloud", crosswords, podcasts, mobile apps, QR technology. In this case the task of edutainment is not to entertain but to provide an engaging learning process, to reduce infor- mation overload caused by the material on anatomy, to enhance the creative ability of the stu- dents, to create conditions for successful social interaction of students during the class
