Abstract

This article observes lexical and graphical features of delivering concept of “language” in Chinese. As it is known, Chinese language is represented with a help of characters in written way. In its turn characters had philosophical roots. Consequently, in contrast with most world languages in Chinese language at conceptual analysis of linguistic units should be considered the graphical features of lexemes to. The following article anal- yses the basic lexemes presenting the concept of “language” in Chinese; their lexic-semantical and graphical similarities and differences. In Chinese language basically used two words?言yuyan and?hua to represent the main concept of “language” . Although these words graphically different, they have joint element 言yan. First lexeme is considered more productive in linguistic science of China
