Abstract
The key indicators of carbohydrate, lipid and purine metabolism in children with overweight and obesity were pointed. It was done in order to determine correlations between the key indicators and the development of arterial hypertension. The positive correleation between the weight, age, glycemia, uricemia and blood pressure was found.
