Abstract
This article considers urbanonyms of Southern Bessarabia. There are shown general trends in the use of odonyms, agoronyms, and horonyms at Akkerman, Izmail (Tuchkov), and Kiliya. The paper discusses the features of development of the downtown areas and the functioning of urbanonyms in the first half of the 19th century.
