Abstract
The article, on the basis of personal field research and on the basis of examination of published and unknown documents show some pages regarding the medieval history of Maşcăuţi estate. Also, here is analyzing the historic development of the Maşcăuţi hermitage in the name of Dormition of Our Lady.
