Abstract
In a modern world occurs active development of power engineering. Innovative resource-saving projects and programs aimed at more effective use of natural resources and production capacity, which ultimately contribute to the economic development of regions and socio-economic processes. Actual problem in many industries and individual companies is the physical and moral deterioration of the equipment. Many energetic companies, which started exploitation since 50s of 20th century, work with outdated equipment. Thermal power plants running on coal are in need of modernization aimed at not only replacement of equipment, but also at application of technologies, which contribute more effective use of fuel. As this tech- nology can be considered high temperature pyrolysis, which is able to provide even and high- quality burning of fuel, which, in turn, allows to reduce wear and costs for repairs and maintenance of equipment
