THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING ABILITY AS CONDITION OF IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPETENCE APPROACH

The psychological features of learning ability are discussed in the article. These features are presented in the context of its natural interconnection with metacognitive traits of personality. The ideas about learning ability in metacognitive traits' structure as important determinant of forming of general and professional competences are formulated. An overview of the programs of educational process's optimization on the basis of metacognitive traits' development is presented.
