Abstract

The paper presents the pedagogical facilitation as a way of interaction in Master Degree students teaching within modern higher education. The author applies the retro-praximetric method to bring to light the historical peculiarities of Master Degree students teaching in native universities in the 19th century. It was found that the Master Degree required hard independent work of candidates for successful interview, exam, and research presentation. The comparative method enabled revealing a major difference between modern and 19th century experience in Master Degree students teaching that is: limited interaction with teachers-consultants. The paper also presents the analysis of distinctive features of interaction of Master Degree students and teachers in modern universities based on pedagogical facilitation, which exposes students potential and their experience transformation. Active techniques for effective facilitation in practical lessons and seminars are proposed in the paper.
