Abstract
This article discusses a chronic somatic illness with high vital risk as a factor determining specific conditions of a child's life activity, his or her psycho-emotional and sociopersonal development. The illness is considered as a high stress condition for the child and his or her family. In addition, the article gives attention to an effect of family situation environment on the illness pathway.
