Abstract
This article is devoted to theoretical review of psychological studies of people with physical disabilities. The results of domestic and foreign works in recent years devoted to the study of various aspects of personality, which is influenced by the conditions of disabling disease are presented. In addition, the article highlights some of the most important directions of the study of disability. Work is performed under the RHF grant №16-16-62003.
