Abstract
In this article, a meaning of volitional prolongation of psychoemotional stress for the development of arterial hypertension is considered. Patients with arterial hypertension tend to experience emotionally significant situations intensively andto save emotional tension for a long time. Prolongation of psychoemotional stress is amenable to correction with psychotechnical methods.
