Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine significant autoaggressive gender indicators women and men who suffer from alcohol dependence. A comparative analysis of two experimental groups (women and men suffering from alcohol dependence and consisting of formalized marriage relations at the time of the survey), each of the groups consisted of 62 respondents. Produced by the «front» is a comparison of all the studied self-injurious (suicidal and nonsuicidal) signs in groups. During our studies demonstrated that women with alcohol dependence are much more likely to find emotional predictors of suicidal in comparison with the studied group of men with alcohol dependence, and men in turn are more often predictors of behavioral plan. Found that while men and women who suffer from alcohol dependence, there are no statistically significant differences in terms of the classic suicidal autoaggression against the backdrop of high suicide rates in both groups as a whole. In the studied group of women marked by extremely high rates of emotional predictors of self-destructive behaviour, namely the tendency to prolonged depressive reactions were found to have of 66,67% of the respondents, periods of acute loneliness were detected in 48,39% of the investigated women, the moments of hopelessness were observed in 64,52% of women described experimental group. In group of examined men, suffering from alcohol dependence, marked by extremely high frequency of the use of the so-called «light» alcohol substitutes, which amounted to 53%, bone fractures of varying severity history registrated at 64,52% of men, cigarette burns described no less than 21% of the respondents. Obtained the study data allow to conclude that persons of both male and female addicts have a high suicide potential, require specific therapeutic approach, and deserve close attention, not only within drug treatment, but results service.
