SHOCKING, «PERFORMANCE», «KITSCH» AND SHOWS HOW TECHNOLOGY CONTROLS MASS CULTURE IN THE POPULAR ARTS

Abstract
In the article the author considers the technology of shocking performance art, kitsch, as controls mass culture of everyday life. Created and described the questionnaire for the sociological survey on the impact of entertainment technologies on popular culture, for example, the Madonna's show in Saint-Petersburg. Discusses the influence of technologies (during the concert program of Madonna) on the audience, the impact of the actions on the behavior management and further emotions. The questionnaire includes questions on personal data of the respondents, about what forms of leisure they prefer, how to meet their cultural preferences, how popular culture affects society, which is the dominant personality in show business. The survey, its outcomes and conclusions are given in the article
