Knowledge Attitude and Practices study was conducted among various socioeconomic group parents of asthmatic children attending our hospital. It was found that knowledge in parents is still poor, poorer in lesser socioeconomic status parents. Knowledge, attitude and practices were specifically analyzed for event register and MDI and are found to be poor, poorer in lower socioeconomic classes. Efforts are needed to involve parents more to have better management of asthma by imparting better knowledge in them.
