Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the variance of interaction forces between a conveyance and shaft steelwork basing on the dynamic analysis of the conveyance's duty cycle and taking into account the random irregularities and misalignment of the guide string. The analytical formula is provided expressing the spectral density of the skip head- shaft steelwork interaction force since it will be most useful in practical applications. Thus derived formulas and their graphical representations allow for selecting the system's parameters such that the conveyance-shaft steelwork interaction forces should not exceed the admissible levels set forth in relevant mining regulations [6].
