Abstract
Based on the concept of mechanical stability, the calculation technique is developed, which enables to predict the value of critical temperatures of brittleness Tс or T0 depending on the effect of different stress raisers at uniaxial tension and static bending for wide range of structural steels. Only the findings of standard uniaxial tests are used at that. The accuracy of suggested technique is evaluated.
