Abstract
The new economy has presented business practitioners with opportunities to compete using a gold rush strategy. Rampant competition has worsened the situation as the economic bubble burst owing to the lack of strategic operations in the virtual space. The ICDT (Information–Communication– Distribution–Transaction) model, which refers to the virtual information, communication, distribution, and transaction spaces, presents business practitioners with a successful methodology to operate their businesses on the Internet. This research identified the influences of ICDT on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty when it is utilized by auction website practitioners. Finally, business techniques and research suggestions are discussed.
