TANRI’YI İDRAK İMKANI BAKIMINDAN PEYGAMBERİ TANIMANIN RASYONEL DEĞERİ (THE RATIONAL VALUE OF RECOGNIZING THE PROPHET IN CASE OF POSSIBILITY OF COMPREHENSION OF GOD)

God, with his being and attributes, is the first “principles of religious belief ”. For this reason, mainly the God, the life after death, “the life of the hereafter” when expressed with religious terminology, and the other invisible, that is, non-sensory issues (non-visible issues) are seen to establish the fundamental principles of belief which are called revelation and are revealed by the prophet when divine religions are taken into consideration. Whether as a natural motive or methodological approach, a philosophical aspect fed by doubt, needs to confirm those addressed statements with their content demanding belief/faith. Because these statements which are originally divine and beside to this, contextually render metaphysical value, now by being shared, have assumed epistemological identity as propositions including claims, and accordingly, they became an important issue which needed to be confirmed “factually” and/or “rationally”. At this point, it will be observed that in favor and against, different opinions will be propounded. The possibility issue that we held at the basis of comprehending the God, -it is valid for the other principles of religion as well- will be constructed in terms of prophet concept and actually prophet's characters, personality, moral values and behaviors and it will be also held on sound envision and will be scrutinized whether it will lead to a factual and rational confirmation. It was aimed to draw attention to possibility, necessity, importance and rational value of this aspect in this way.
