Abstract

Mankind, naturally, seeks happiness and for that reason follows things that give pleasure. Avicenna describes the pleasure as “pleasure is, as being mulaim (appropriate), comprehending what is mulaim”. He also describe pleasure from perspective of reason; “to think of what is appropriate for himself ”. Avicenna observes the existence which is the scope of reason, from an integrative perspective. He aim to examine God and emerged creatures, the hierarchy between them and manifestation of God's mercy and favour, represented in the reason. In that way, mankind leaves the temporal pleasures which are related with the biological body, and merges into eternal truth as Avicenna describes, becomes universe of reason. In the end, humankind will try to resemble spiritual creatures to reach eternal happiness. To have desire to merge with them, Humankind must realise this reality and he can obtain that reality just thinking on existence.
