Abstract

The article considers lexical-semantic peculiarities of the Ukrainian-English translation of the Military Doctrine of Ukraine as a specific genre of military-political texts. The genre characteristics of the "Military Doctrine" have been examined, the structure of this genre belonging to the official style has been described. The translation of the "Military Doctrine" has been studied to identify translation techniques and transformations, as well as extralinguistic factors that influence the translation process.
