Abstract
The study is dedicated to the engineering principles development of absorption type household refrigeration sets creation. Research objects are absorption refrigerating devices placed on small ships with the cooling chamber volume from 35 to 40 dm3, that are extremely exposed to external dynamic effects (rolling, shake, roll and pitch). It is shown that at large amplitudes of wind waves on small ships special constructions in which are provided the elements to prevent the adverse effects of pitching on the hydrodynamics of the working fluid flows should be applied.
