Abstract
Blast relief structures are proposed to be used for structure protection against earthquake. The possibility of the fall of some construction elements, such as slabs or part of the wall panels is provided in the process of resonance oscillations by weakening the joint between the element and the main structure. As a result of the fall, the natural frequencies of structure oscillations are to change and the system gets out of resonance. An example of applying this solution to a single-storey farm building is considered.
