Abstract
This paper deals with varicose vein disease recurrence, which is very common in surgical phlebology after the surgery of lower extremity varicose vein disease. The article is aimed at determination of the main factors of vein disease recurrence. The result of clinical study, examination and treatment of 34 patients with bulge recurrence after surgery of varicose vein disease is presented. The causes of recurrence are allocated, which are technical mistakes at surgery, normal disease progression, failure to follow the recommendations on compression regime and venomotor therapy in the postoperative period and the lack of follow-up care for varicose vein disease.
