HOME READING AS ONE OF THE WAYS OF TRAINING ENGLISH-LANGUAGE TERMINOLOGY OF SURVEYING AND OIL-AND-GAS HOLE DRILLING

In this article, the concept of home reading, tasks for the senior students learning a foreign language at technical universities are revealed. The tasks, which teachers have to solve, and the purposes, which pupils have to achieve, are listed. We propose the thesis about the importance of home reading of specialized English-language texts for students to gain prestigious work in the future. The well-defined structure of home reading is suggested, which is existence of four obligatory components. In this paper the examples illustrating main principles are given.
