Abstract
This article examines the processes influencing the formation, development and transmission of socio-cultural and historical knowledge through various objects. It is shown that public consciousness plays a major consolidation role for social and historical memory of the people as the creator of art. Collective memory allows preserving and enriching the people's heritage.
