Abstract

The results of sequential extraction of weathering gold bearing ore have been presented. The association of gold and silver with different geochemical fractions: exchangeable, organic, carbonate, amorphous or crystalline iron oxides and metal sulfides was defined. The presence of gold in exchangeable and organic parts can be a source of significant gold losses in weathering gold ore processing.
