Ring Type Reading Device

ABSTRACT Blinded and illiterate people are facing numerous difficulties to do regular activities in our daily life in the aspect of reading. If those people want to know or read any written text, there is only two ways listening and braille lipi. This paper simplifies difficulty of reading for blind people. There are so many devices are created by existing technology but those are not effective in focusing and accessing mobility. That can be solved by introducing adevice to read printed text. Ring type reading device is designed under the basis of reducing brain stress while blind people trying to read text. The working of this device is scanning the printed text using mini HD camera and converts image to text format to give audio output. User can hear this audio output through headphones. This device is the update version of eye ring; however the software in this device gives quick response as compared by the previous devices. This device does not contain many parts in order to provide simple user interface. Key words: Printed text, reading device, HD camera, headphones, eye ring.
