Abstract
The article analyzes the agronomic character of the new cotton varieties of G. hirsutum L. The studied varieties are characterized by great genetic potential that allows having biotypes with adaptive plasticity to growth environment. As a result of study of new cotton varieties generation by selection we have identified a number of new cotton families, a characteristic feature of which is the high indices of single cotton box weight, productivity and fiber yield together with its length.
