PECULIARITIES OF PATHOGENESIS OF COMORBID ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION AND DIABETES MELLITUS 2 TYPE

In the article features of pathogenetic mechanisms of the combined course of arterial hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus are considered. This pathology potentiates the development of micro- and macrovascular complications, raises cardiovascular risk. Concomitant abdominal obesity contributes to the imbalance of adipocytokines, and complicates the course of type 2 diabetes.
