Abstract
In this article the results on studying of inheritance and variability of characteristic of raw cotton ball at hybrids F1-F2 of new species of fine-filamented cotton plant are given. The effects of the general combining ability and constants of specific combining ability are studied. The sign "weight of raw cotton ball" was inherited at F1 plants mainly as superdominance with positive heterotic effect and as incomplete dominance of the big-boll cotton parent, in single combinations – as incomplete dominance of the small ball cotton parent.
