Abstract
The article deals with the issue of word combination types in languages of different structures on the example of the Uzbek and Tajik languages. If coordinative word combinations in these languages are the same and their components are equal, there are differences in the hypotactic word combinations. In the Tajik language besides parataxis, government and agreement there is the special type of syntactic relationship – izafet. The types of izafet constructions in Tajik, their transfer ways into Uzbek language and also structural changes of izafet constructions borrowed from Tajik to Uzbek languages are given in this article.
