SOME AREAS OF SELECTION FOR THE CREATION OF NEW KIND OF FINE-FIBER COTTON VARIETIES G.BARBADENSE L

The article presents the new line of fine-fiber cotton. The Government of the Republic has raised the issue of rehabilitation and breeding of the new varieties of staple cotton in the southern regions of the Republic. It is necessary to look for ways to create ripening, yielding varieties. In the laboratory, there are such lines, and in this work, they are presented. In this study, we used three lines of fine-fiber cotton L-5443, L-5448, L-5450 and 31-grade Termez as a control one. The article deals with earliness, yield, economically valuable traits and disease resistance.
