Abstract
This article deals with the issues of innovative activity of the enterprises under current conditions. The definitions of the concept "innovation", which are suggested by the leading scientists-economists, are given. The content of external and internal factors, objective and subjective factors, having considerable impact on innovative activity of the enterprise, is revealed. Furthermore, the classification of factors constraining innovative activity of the company and promoting its growth is presented.
