Abstract
This article focuses on the benefits of plurilingual education in Europe and its potential use in the Kazakhstani education as Kazakhstan is a multiethnic and multilingual state. Plurilingual education has benefits which can be applied in the language education of Kazakhstan. It addresses the plurilingual and intercultural competence of both teachers and students, promotes awareness and respect of other languages and cultures, and teaches learners to be open to linguistic and cultural diversity
