Development of scientific activity of the region: strategic approach, economic efficiency

Purpose of the article is to examine the efficiency of the processes of scientific support for the economy at the regional level, the formation of the relevant scientific and practical recommendations for enhancing innovation processes at the level of the Russian Federation. As a result of research by the author developed and tested an algorithm of the rating of the Russian Federation on the level of scientific support for the effectiveness of the economy. Formation of such ratings allows to make management decisions for the strategic development of innovative farming regions.
