INVESTIGATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORGANISATIONAL TRUST, JOB-FAMILY CONFLICT AND INTENTION TO LEAVE THE JOB: A STUDY AT TRAVEL AGENCIES

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between travel agent employees' perceived organisational trust, job-family conflict and intention to leave the job in Eskişehir. Face to face interviews were conducted with 180 employees at the travel agencies and 162 of them which were found to be appropriate for the study were investigated in the study. According to the findings of this study, there is a significant and negative relationship between travel agent employees' sub-dimensions of perceived organisational trust and the intention to leave the job; there as a significant and negative relationship between the sub-dimension of organisational trust and job-family conflict and there as a significant and positive relationship between the sub-dimensions of job-family conflict and the intention to leave the job. According to the regression analysis, it was also found that 49% of the intention to leave the job and 10% of the job-family conflict could be explained with organisational trust.
