Abstract
Integrity of offshore pipelines is kept by means of well-planned repair and maintenance activities. These activities should be based on knowledge of pipeline actual technical condition. Offshore pipeline inspection by magnetic tomography method (Aqua MTM®) relies on inspection stability while the inspection tool is moved along the pipeline. The current article discusses a criterion to evaluate real-time inspection quality when Aqua MTM® is applied for offshore pipeline integrity management.
